Aaryan Shukla - the human calculator!
Meet Aaryan Shukla, a 14-year-old math genius! People call him the human calculator because he can do big math problems in his head faster than we can on a calculator!
He comes from Maharashtra, India. His mother says he loved numbers even as a small child. He always enjoyed solving problems and playing with numbers.
When Shukla was six years old, he started practising mental math. At just eight years old, he took part in an international competition and won medals for his amazing skills!

The human calculator breaks six world records!
Recently, Aaryan Shukla went to Dubai for a big Guinness World Records event. He broke six records in one day! Here are his records:
- the fastest time to mentally add 100 four-digit numbers (30.9 seconds),
- the fastest time to mentally add 200 four-digit numbers(1 minute, 9.68 seconds),
- the fastest time to mentally add 50 five-digit numbers (18.71 seconds),
- the fastest time to multiply two five-digit numbers, set of 10 (51.69 seconds)
- the fastest time to mentally divide a 20-digit number by a ten-digit number, set of 10 (5 min, 42 seconds)
- the fastest time to mentally multiply two eight-digit numbers, set of 10 (2 min, 35.41 seconds)
The talented kid says practice is the key! He practices for 5-6 hours every day to get better and faster. He also does yoga and meditation to stay focused. But he doesn’t just love numbers—he also enjoys reading and playing video games!
He has also won many international titles in mental calculations along with his records.
Aaryan Shukla didn’t become a math genius overnight. His story shows that hard work and practice help you achieve big dreams. He also teaches us that time management is important - balancing studies, hobbies, and practice can help you succeed in life!
