In a letter to Tim Cook, the head of Apple, she claimed to be the youngest iOS developer. Cook praised the child for her achievement.</p>

The free iOS app, created by Rafeeq, contains kid-friendly stories. She decided to create this app after noticing how few parents had time to read stories to their children. Rafeeq began learning to code when she was five years old and decided to use her knowledge to make this app!

Learning to code is more difficult than it looks in movies. A child will make mistakes (even professionals do!). So, when the code doesn’t work, the person (in this case, the child) who has written it has to solve it. This can help children learn how to quickly solve problems, which is a skill they will use all their lives!
