<h5>What is Al-Qaeda?</h5>  <p>Al-Qaeda is a group of terrorists. It was founded by Osama Bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in 1988. This group was responsible for the deadliest terrorist attack on the United States in 2001. This attack is also known as the 9/11 attack.</p>
<p>Members of the Al-Qaeda hijacked four planes on 11th September 2001. They crashed two planes into the World Trade Centre in New York and one into The Pentagon in Washington, DC. The last plane crashed in a field. A lot of people died on that sad day. </p>
<p>Although Bin Laden was killed in 2011, Al-Qaeda still plans and carries out attacks across the world. Recently, Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed by the United States government. 
</p> <h5>Who was Ayman al-Zawahiri?</h5>  <p>Ayman al-Zawahiri was born in Egypt in 1951. He studied medicine and later became the leader of Al-Qaeda after Osama Bin Laden’s death.
Zawahiri was also put on the list of the world’s most wanted terrorists. He was recently killed in a drone strike. Joe Biden, the President of the United States, announced his death.

      </figure> <p>We have all played with remote-controlled cars. Drones are aircraft that don’t need pilots. These unmanned aircraft can be controlled from anywhere in the world! They are also called unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) sometimes. </p>
<p>The drones used by the military are called unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs). The use of UCAVs to kill terrorists is known as a drone strike.
</p> <h5>Who gave the order for the drone strike?</h5>  <p>The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) got to know that Ayman al-Zawahiri may be hiding in Kabul, Afghanistan. They spent months verifying whether it was him and where he was hiding exactly.
Joe Biden ordered the drone strike. The drone strike did not kill anyone else except Zawahiri.
