What is the Border–Gavaskar Trophy?
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) is a Test cricket competition between India and Australia. It is named after two famous cricket players: Allan Border from Australia and Sunil Gavaskar from India.
This series happens once a year, and the first BGT match was played in 1996-97 in Delhi, where India won!
So far, India has won the trophy 10 times, Australia has won it 5 times, and one series ended in a draw. Fans get very excited when these matches happen!
