Goats Are Heroes! In Denver, Colorado, USA, 1,200 goats are doing something amazing! They’re munching on plants to help stop wildfires. Wildfires can be really dangerous, but these goats are stepping up to keep everyone safe.
Why goats?
You might wonder why goats are the ones doing this job. Well, they love to eat dry plants that can catch fire easily. By gobbling up these plants, they make it much harder for wildfires to start. Isn’t that just the coolest thing?
Who brought the goats?
A company called Goat Green brought the goats to the Lockheed Martin campus. Lockheed Martin, a big company that works with airplanes and space stuff, wants to make sure the area stays safe from fires, so they hired these helpful goats to do the job.
