He became president in 2008 and was chosen again in 2012.</p><p>Before being president, Barack went to two big schools, Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He worked as a lawyer and taught law. He was part of the Democratic Party.</p><p>Michelle was the first African American first lady. She attended Harvard Law School and met Barack at a law firm. They got married in 1992. Michelle did lots of wonderful things and helped many people!</p>
