<h5>How did the Barbie movie do at the box office?</h5><p>Greta Gerwig is the director of the recently released movie ‘Barbie’. The film earned $337 million during its opening weekend worldwide. In the US and Canada, it earned $155 million, and internationally, it collected $182 million. This makes it the highest opening weekend for a female-directed film (wow!).</p><p>The movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, did even better in its opening weekend in North America than 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' and all the Marvel movies released this year.</p><p>People loved the movie, and it got fantastic reviews. Lots of marketing was done before the release to grab people's attention and get them to watch the movie.</p><h5>What kind of marketing was done to promote the film?</h5><p>The Barbie team did many fun things to promote the movie. They worked with different brands to make things like Barbie-themed UNO cards, pink frozen yoghurts, and even a special Barbie Xbox console.
