<h5>Insect photo competition?!</h5><p>There are many photo competitions held worldwide. The one we will talk about is unique.</p><p>The models of the talented photographers participating in this competition are tiny and special - everyday insects that we often see and shoo away!</p><h5>Who organised this photography competition?</h5><p>The Royal Entomological Society held a photography competition. It is an organisation that is dedicated to the study of insects.</p><p>The participants, who are not professional photographers, had to take photos of different insects and submit them last year.</p><p>There were two groups: &nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.insectweek.org/art-and-photography/2023-photography-competition-winners-over-18-category/">over-18 </a>and <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.insectweek.org/art-and-photography/2023-photography-competition-winners-under-18-category/">under-18</a>. The winners of this contest were just announced. This competition helps us see how beautiful they can be.</p><p>Insects are super important for our environment. Some, like bees, help pollinate crops and flowers.</p><p>But insects are in danger because of things like losing their homes and climate change.
