<h5>Spain wins Euro 2024!</h5><p>A month-long football tournament, the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship, also known as Euro 2024, has ended. The tournament started on 14th June 2024 and ended on 14th July 2024 (15th June 2024 and 15th July 2024 according to Indian time, as there is a time difference between India and Europe).</p><p>The final match was between Spain and England, and the La Rojas (another term for the Spanish team, which means the red squad) defeated England 2-1 to emerge as the champions.</p><p>Twenty-four teams participated in this tournament, intending to win the coveted trophy. In the end, Spain lifted the prestigious trophy. Still, the Spanish team had a plan in mind - to play beautiful football and defeat other teams in their path to victory.</p><p>The plan worked, and they topped Group B to reach the round of 16. Soon, they were in the quarter-finals, having defeated Georgia in the earlier stage. They then faced Germany, whom they also defeated.</p><p>It was time for the semi-finals, and France was their opponent. The French fans hoped their team would be able to defeat Spain, but alas! That didn’t happen. Soon, it was time for the grand finale, and Spain emerged victorious.</p><p>The Spanish squad played as a team to win the tournament, defeating everyone who came in their path. Unlike the FIFA World Cup, this tournament is only for European teams.</p><p>Germany hosted this year’s tournament.
