Body aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea are other common symptoms.</p><p>The Indian Medical Association (IMA) says an H3N2 illness usually lasts five to seven days. The fever will decrease after three days. But coughing might last for up to three weeks.</p><h5><br>How does it spread?</h5><p><br>The H3N2 virus passes from sick pigs to humans through infected droplets released by pigs while coughing or sneezing. Humans can spread it among others in the same way. Infected droplets that land on the nose or mouth can cause infection.</p><p><br>Infection can also happen from inhaling the virus in the environment. It can also occur by touching something infected with the H3N2 virus and then touching one's mouth or nose.</p><h5><br>How can its spread be prevented?</h5><p><br>Personal hygiene is important in preventing the spread of H3N2. Hands should be washed properly before touching the face, nose, or mouth. It is important to avoid contact with those who have already been infected with the virus.</p><p><br>Eating a healthy diet can help increase immunity and prevent infection. While coughing or sneezing, a mask must be worn. One must also use a mask in crowded places. One can take medicines when noticing symptoms. But, before taking medicines, it’s better to visit a doctor.</p><h5><br>Is there any treatment available for this disease?</h5><p><br>Antiviral medicines for seasonal flu can also treat H3N2 in children and adults. Early treatment is beneficial. A person suffering from this disease should get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids.</p>
