<h5>What is Halloween?</h5>  <p>Every year on October 31st, a festival known as "Halloween" is celebrated in many countries around the globe.
Historians think Halloween came from an old Celtic festival. During this festival, people dressed up in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off ghosts and evil. This old tradition continues even today.</p>
<p>During Halloween, people dress up in costumes and participate in a variety of fun activities. However, a tragedy occurred this year during Halloween celebrations. A stampede occurred in South Korea on 29th October 2022 when people gathered to celebrate this festival (a very sad incident!).</p> <h5>Oh no! What happened in South Korea?</h5> <figure>

      </figure> <p>A stampede occurred at a popular market in Seoul, South Korea's capital city. Reports say around 1 lakh people gathered at this location to celebrate the festival. This large crowd clogged the area's narrow streets, causing the stampede.
This stampede killed 151 people and injured 100 more (such sad news!). Among those killed were 19 foreigners.</p>
<p>The people wanted to have a good time, but this incident ruined their plans. The entire country and the world were shocked by this incident. People and world leaders have offered their condolences.</p> <h5>What is the South Korean government’s response to this incident?</h5> <figure>

      </figure> <p>Yoon Suk-yeol, the South Korean president, has said that the government will look into this. The government will also make any necessary changes to prevent the same accident from happening again. The president also declared a state of national mourning.</p>
<p>The South Korean government will also be paying the medical bills of all those who were injured and the funeral costs of all those who died.</p> <h5>What did we learn from this article?</h5>  <p>This article describes the tragedy faced by hundreds of South Koreans who were only trying to celebrate Halloween.
