<h5>History made in the Karnataka HC.</h5><p>The Karnataka High Court (HC) became the first HC to hear arguments about a case from a speech and hearing-impaired lawyer who used a sign language interpreter.</p><p>The lawyer, Sarah Sunny, is also India’s first practising lawyer with a hearing disability. Such an inspiring person!</p><h5>Sarah Sunny: A beacon of hope!</h5><p>Sarah Sunny and the Karnataka HC have become sources of inspiration for people who are differently-abled.</p><p>Sunny's career as a lawyer shows how hard work never goes to waste.</p><h5>Be kind to speech and hearing-impaired people.</h5><p>Speech and hearing-impaired people face many challenges, such as communicating with others. If you need to put some extra effort to understand and be understood - go ahead and do that.
