<h5>The rise of Gukesh D!</h5><p>17-year-old Indian chess prodigy <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/gm-gukesh-becomes-india-s-top-ranked-chess-player">Gukesh Dommaraju</a>, also known as Gukesh D, became the youngest player to win the men's Candidates Tournament.</p><p>Later this year, he will face world champion Ding Liren at the 2024 World Chess Championship. If he wins, he will become the youngest world champion.</p><p>The Candidates Tournament is an important chess event that features top players.
