<h5>India’s space station plans.</h5><p>India is building a cool space station called Bharatiya Antariksha Station (BAS)! Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said it will be ready by 2035.</p><p>ISRO will maintain and make the BAS work. It will have five special parts, and the first one will be launched into space in 2028!</p><p>This space station will be like a giant science lab in space where astronauts can do amazing experiments.</p><p>Even though BAS will be smaller than the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/international-space-station-to-be-destroyed">International Space Station</a> (ISS), it will be super exciting for India and help us explore space like never before!</p><h5>Other announcements made by the minister.</h5><p>Dr. Jitendra Singh shared some super exciting space news:</p><ul><li>Moon Mission: By 2040, India wants to send its first astronaut to the Moon!</li><li>Gaganyaan Flight: Next year, India will launch <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/who-is-going-on-the-gaganyaan-mission">Gaganyaan, India’s first human spaceflight mission</a>. It’s going to be a huge step for the nation!</li><li>Robot in Space: In 2025, a cool robot named Vayumitra will travel to space, perform certain tasks, and return to Earth.</li></ul><p>The government is also working to help India explore space and discover new things!</p><h5>Countries with their own space stations.</h5><figure class="image"><img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/newsahoot.appspot.com/ISS_ab88032c3e.jpg" alt="ISS.jpg"><figcaption>The International Space Station.
