<h5>Indian astronaut picked to travel to the ISS!</h5><p>India is getting ready to send its first citizen to the International Space Station (ISS)!</p><p>The ISRO picked Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla to be the astronaut for this super cool mission. If he can’t go, Group Captain Prashanth Balakrishnan Nair will take his place.</p><p>This is a big deal because Shukla will be the second Indian to go to space after Rakesh Sharma, who went in 1984, and the first Indian to visit the ISS!</p><p>ISRO announced this exciting news as part of the Axiom-4 mission. The mission is planned for any time after October 2024. Let’s get excited and cheer for our space heroes!</p><h6>About Shubhanshu Shukla.</h6><p>Shubhanshu Shukla was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He flies cool planes for the Indian Air Force and is really great at it!</p><p>He worked super hard and practised a lot. Each country is sending their own astronaut to space!</p><p>The mission has some awesome goals:</p><ul><li>Science Fun: Doing fun experiments.</li><li>Tech Magic: Trying out new gadgets.</li></ul><p>This mission is like a big space party where everyone will work together and learn and share various things!</p>
