Where was the cricket match held?
India won their first Test match against Australia. They won in a game held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This win was special because it was India's first in 11 women's Test matches against Australia.
Also, this is India's second Test match win this month. They beat England in Mumbai earlier.
How was India’s performance in the test match?

India won against Australia by eight wickets. Australia batted first and scored 219 runs. India replied with 406 runs, leading by 187 runs. In the second innings, Australia tried their best but got all out for 261 runs. India only needed 75 runs to win, and they did it easily.
The Indian team did very well and was praised by many. Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian captain, became the second Indian woman to win several Tests as captain, following Mithali Raj.

India will play against Australia in three ODI and three T20 matches starting on 28th December 2023. India will host the 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. Bangladesh will host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in 2024. Team India must now prepare hard to perform well in both tournaments.
