What did the L&T boss say?
SN Subrahmanyan, the boss of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an important company in India, said something that surprised many people. He thinks employees should work 90 hours every week, including Sundays!
In a video on social media, he said, "I wish I could make you work on Sundays. I work on Sundays, too!" He also asked why people need so much time off.
Subrahmanyan believes that working more hours will make India a stronger country. He compared this to workers in China, who he says work long hours to help their country grow.

Reaction to the comments.
Many people are not happy with his idea. They think:
90 hours is too much! Working without breaks can make people tired and unhappy.
Workers need a balance between work and rest to stay healthy.
Some said it’s not fair because many workers don’t earn a lot of money, but their boss earns much more.
Others shared another idea: what if employees choose how many hours they want to work in a week, like 40, 50, or 70 hours? And they should get paid fairly for it.
The importance of employee well-being.
Experts say that when workers rest and feel good, they do a better job. But when they are stressed and tired, they might face burnout and may not work as well. Companies should care about their workers’ health and happiness.
After all, happy and healthy workers help the company grow!
