The voting will occur in seven phases across India.</p><p>Today, voting is taking place in certain areas of many states. It also allows voters to choose leaders who share their beliefs, helping bring about social change.</p><p>That's why everyone above 18 should vote. You must also ask your parents and elders to vote.</p>
