Once lost, teeth can’t regrow!

Teeth help us chew our food, form words by controlling the airflow out of our mouths, and enhance our smile.

Once teeth are lost, they don't grow back. Adult teeth do replace milk teeth, but it's a one-time replacement. So we must take good care of them.

But what if we told you teeth could be regrown?

No, it's not a Harry Potter spell. Science and modern medicine have made it possible.

A drug has been developed by a team of Japanese researchers to help grow lost teeth.

The drug will now be tested on people after it worked well in tests on ferrets and mice. If the trials are successful, this medicine might be sold as early as 2030.

Maintain oral hygiene!

In the future, medicine might help grow back teeth. For now, keep your teeth healthy with good oral hygiene to prevent dental diseases like cavities.

Brush your teeth gently in small circles at least twice daily. Avoid scrubbing too hard.

Limit sugary foods and drinks to prevent tooth decay. You must also go for regular dental check-ups to ensure your teeth are healthy. These are some ways to maintain oral hygiene.
