What happened to Microsoft?

Technology helps us a lot, like with sending emails and listening to music. But when it breaks, it can cause big problems.

Recently, Microsoft, a big tech company, had a huge problem. An outage occurred, and it affected many businesses around the world.

Some people also had trouble with Azure and Microsoft 365 apps, which help businesses and developers.

What caused the issue?

The problem started with Microsoft's Azure service and CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor software.

Falcon Sensor helps protect computers from hackers. A new update for this software caused the blue screen error, called the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), making computers restart and possibly lose data.

Microsoft and CrowdStrike are fixing the problem, and things are getting better now.

What services were affected?

Airports and Airlines: Flights were delayed and cancelled. Airports had to use manual check-in.

This outage shows how important technology is and how a problem with one company can affect many people.

Microsoft and CrowdStrike need to make sure their services are better to avoid such issues in the future.
