They did this because there were reports that China might be trying to influence Canadian elections. The group is looking at China, Russia, etc.</p><p>Recently, this commission asked the Canadian government for details to see if India might have tried interfering with Canada's elections in 2019 and 2021. This new problem could make India and Canada's already rocky relationship even worse.</p><h5>What is India’s response to this latest issue?</h5><p>At the time of writing this, India hasn't said anything about the commission's decision.
