What is NASA?
The sky is full of different objects, the sun, the moon, the stars, and many other things. To see them, we just have to look upwards. But, some objects are even further away and we cannot see them with our eyes.
We only see photos of these faraway objects. These photos are provided to us by the space agencies that study the universe.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is one such space agency of the United States (US) government. Recently, it released a new photograph of the universe with the help of its James Webb telescope.

The James Webb Telescope is the world’s best telescope. It can capture images of objects very far from the earth. NASA has released the first photograph taken by the James Webb Telescope. The photograph is the clearest and the deepest image of the universe yet.
Why are these photos so important?
These photographs show us faraway stars, galaxies, and other space objects and help us know more about the secrets of the universe. NASA hopes to discover many new things about our universe. They also hope to understand more about the universe's galaxies, stars, and other objects in space. Learning more about the universe and stars may help NASA discover any other planets that are similar to our Earth. NASA may also find out more about how the earliest galaxies were formed and how they ended. By gathering knowledge about the universe and studying faraway galaxies, space scientists can tell what our planet’s future is going to be like.
