Neeraj Chopra is an Indian athlete who does javelin throw. He made history by winning India's first Olympic gold medal in the track and field category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chopra became famous when he won the U-20 World Championships in 2016. He threw the javelin super far, 86.48 meters, and set a new record. Nobody has broken that record yet. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he became the first Indian javelin thrower to win a gold medal.
