What is the name of OpenAI’s latest AI model?

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched its latest artificial intelligence (AI) model, Sora. Sora can change written text into short videos lasting up to one minute. A person has to type a text, and Sora will create a video.

How does Sora work?

The videos made by Sora feature very realistic environments, detailed camera movement, different camera angles, and characters expressing various emotions. Sora understands not only what the user requested in the prompt but also how those items exist in the real world.

For example, if you ask Sora to make a video of people playing football at the beach, it will make that video. Sora understands words well, so it knows what you mean and creates the right video.

Besides making videos from text, Sora can also turn a still image into a video by animating its contents. It can even extend an existing video.

When can we start using Sora?

We have to wait before we can try out this cool new AI model. Experts are still testing it to find problems and perfect the AI model. The company has also let some artists, designers, and filmmakers use it to give feedback.

OpenAI said the AI isn't perfect. For example, it might need help making really hard scenes or understanding directions like left and right. So, we'll have to wait longer before we can use it.

But if you could use it, what would you make? Let us know in the comments.
