<h5>Pakistan’s new notes!</h5><p>The State Bank of Pakistan, &nbsp;the country’s central bank, is trying something different with its money. They plan to test a new type of polymer plastic currency, or banknote.</p><p>The new note will be released in one denomination. If the public likes it, it will be made in other denominations.</p><p>They’re also giving their old paper money a makeover. By the end of this year, the newly redesigned paper notes will have cool new security features.</p><h5>Advantages of polymer currency notes.</h5><figure class="image"><img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/newsahoot.appspot.com/Australian_banknotes_in_wallet_d8135bf0b3.jpg" alt="Australian_banknotes_in_wallet.jpg"><figcaption>Plastic notes used in Australia. Australia started using it first, and now about 40 countries do, too!</p><p>Here’s why this type of note is super cool:</p><ul><li><u>Super Safe:</u> It has better features, like holograms, making them hard to copy.</li><li><u>Tough and Long-Lasting:</u> It’s stronger than paper money and lasts a long time.</li><li><u>Waterproof and Clean:</u> It doesn’t get wet or dirty and is easy to wipe clean.</li><li><u>Recyclable:</u> When old plastic notes are no longer needed, they can be torn down and turned into new things like flowerpots.</li></ul><p>But, plastic money isn’t perfect. It can be tricky to fold and might get sticky if it gets wet.</p><h5>Does India use polymer plastic currency?</h5><p>India doesn’t use plastic money yet. Our money is made from special paper, and the government isn’t planning to switch to plastic money right now.</p><p>But some experts think plastic money is a great idea! They say it could help stop fake money because plastic notes are harder to copy.</p><p>Wouldn’t it be cool if India used plastic money someday?</p>
