<h5>Olympic Phryge!</h5><p>The Paris 2024 Olympics (also known as Paris 2024) began on 26th July 2024 and will conclude on 11th August 2024. We will see nineteen days of amazing competition between athletes representing diverse nations worldwide.</p><p>Generally, any Olympics or a similar sporting event has a mascot. Mascots are fun and friendly characters, animals, or objects created to reflect the spirit and culture of the games and the host nation or city.</p><p>The Paris 2024 mascot's name is Olympic Phryge, based on the traditional Phrygian hats, a symbol of freedom. The design and name were chosen to represent the ideals of the French Republic and demonstrate how sports can affect people's lives.</p><p>The Phrygian caps or hats also represent independence throughout French history. Posters have become a tradition since the Stockholm Olympics in 1912, with every organising committee designing them to showcase their symbols and themes.</p><p>The Paris 2024 poster shows a magical city resembling a huge stadium. Inside, you can see the city's famous landmarks, competition sites, and key figures from the sporting world.</p><p>The design also invites people to explore the many small and colourful details that combine to create a lovely scene.</p><figure class="image"><img alt="Poster 2.jpg" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/newsahoot.appspot.com/Poster_2_ab87752b1c.jpg"><figcaption>The Paralympics poster. Each poster stands alone yet fits together to tell a single story. This is the first time in history the Olympics and the Paralympics posters have been designed together.</p><p>The 2024 Paris Paralympics are also scheduled to begin a few days after the Olympics end and will be held from 28 August to 8 September 2024. Photo by the Olympics.</figcaption></figure><h5>Indians at the Paris Olympics!</h5><p>117 Indian athletes will represent the nation at the Paris Olympics, participating in a wide range of sports.</p><p>Around 72 of them are making their Olympic debut at this year’s event, while the rest already have the experience of participating in this sporting event.</p><p>The players are participating in 16 sports disciplines and hope to win many medals to make the nation proud.</p>
