<h5>Indian duo wins bronze!</h5><p>As the Paris Olympics 2024 are in full swing, Indian shooters are putting in top-notch performances, amazing everyone!</p><p>Recently, Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team shooting event. This was India’s first-ever medal in a shooting team event.</p><p>The victory also helped Manu Bhaker etch her name in history. Photo by Team India.</figcaption></figure><p>India’s Swapnil Kusale has won the bronze medal in the final of the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions (3P) shooting competition. This was India’s first-ever Olympic shooting medal in this event.</p><p>The 50m rifle 3P is a shooting event in which participants shoot at a target typically placed 50 metres away using a rifle from three different positions: kneeling, prone, and standing.</p><p>The talented Indian shooter was once placed sixth during the final event. However, he held on to his nerves and shot consistently, which saw him finish third, thus winning the bronze medal.</p><p>This is India’s third medal in the Paris Olympics, and all of them have come in shooting.</p><h5>About the winners.</h5><p><strong><u>Manu Bhaker:</u></strong> She is India’s sensational shooting star, and her performances have made the nation proud. She belongs to Haryana and has represented India in various tournaments worldwide.</p><p><strong><u>Sarabjot Singh:</u></strong> He is a 22-year-old talented shooter from Ambala, Haryana, India. He is a travelling ticket examiner (TTE) with the Pune Railway Division and an awesome shooter who has won many medals and made the nation proud in various shooting competitions.</p><h5>The medal table.</h5><p>At the time of writing this, India is placed 42nd on the medal table with 3 bronze medals.</p><p>People's Republic of China sits at the top of the table with 11 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze. France, Japan, Australia, and the USA closely follow them.</p>

The country is very proud of Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh, and Swapnil Kusale, who have all won medals in shooting.
