<h5>Why was the IPS officer suspended?</h5><p>President Droupadi Murmu recently suspended an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. This was after the Goa Police gave a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The report said the officer had misbehaved with a woman tourist at a beach club in North Goa.</p><p>Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said last week that strict action would be taken against the officer.
