<p>These days many people want pugs as pets. Pugs have big round eyes, short legs and curly tails. They remain small, even at their biggest size. They don’t take up a lot of space. They can be kept as pets even in small homes.</p>
<p>Bringing home an adorable pup is exciting. But bringing home a pug also means having to give it extra care.
</p> <h5>Why do pugs have so many health issues?</h5>  <p>Recently, a study has been done by the Royal Veterinary College. This study says that pugs can no longer be considered typical dogs. This is because pugs have more health problems than any other dogs.</p>

Their health problems are because of how their bodies are made. Pugs have flat faces. Their flat noses make it hard for pugs to breathe. This is why they get tired very fast. In the summer months, pugs are very uncomfortable in the heat and easily develop skin diseases.
</p> <h5>What can we do to help them?</h5>  <p>Pug owners must take very good care of their pugs. They should be taken to the vet now and then. Many people would tell us to not buy a pug. It’s very painful for them to live with these health problems.
</p> <h5>Adopt a stray or a rescue dog instead!</h5>  <p>If more people want pugs, then more pugs will have to be born. But there are already many pugs and other dogs in the world. We could adopt one of these!</p>
