It is made using soft, fresh cheese called ‘chhena.’ It is very tasty!</p><p>The chhena is boiled in sugar syrup and then soaked in a cardamom-flavoured sweet milk syrup. This amazing dessert is served cold.</p><h5>Is chhena really cheese?</h5><p>Cheese is a milk product. There are various types of cheese worldwide, having different tastes and names. So, 'Chhena' can also refer to a type of cheese.</p><p>This is just like how paneer is known as Indian cottage cheese in English. Both cheese and chhena are, after all, made from milk.</p>
