<h5>What happened at the Parliament?</h5><p>On December 13, 2023, a security breach occurred at the Parliament. Two people got into the Lok Sabha while the ministers were there.</p><p>One of them opened a gas canister, and the place filled with smoke. They also shouted slogans. The Lok Sabha members and the security staff quickly stopped these two people.</p><h5>Oh no! A man and a woman were arrested outside Parliament. They also had smoke canisters that released red and yellow smoke.</p><p>The Delhi police are checking what happened. Security in the area was also increased. After the breach, the Lok Sabha session was halted. Lok Sabha resumed again at 2 p.m.</p><p>After the two Lok Sabha intruders were caught, a visitor's pass was found from one of them. Reports say the pass appears to have been issued by the office of a BJP Member of Parliament (MP).</p><p>Reports say all four knew each other. In total, six people were involved – two causing trouble inside the big building and two outside. Five of them have been arrested at the time of writing this, and the police are looking for the sixth person.</p><h5>What are the reactions to the incident?</h5><p>Many MPs were shocked by the security breach and spoke against it. Some Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and opposition party members argued about what happened. An opposition party MP even said the BJP was involved.</p><p>The father of one of the people involved in the incident said he did a wrong thing and should be punished. The lady who got arrested said they had no connection to any political group. She also talked about how the government was stopping regular people from speaking out and mentioned the difficulties that farmers, workers, and others are facing.</p><p>The recent security breach happened exactly 22 years after the 2001 Parliament attacks and has shocked many.</p>
