<h5>How did the police help the boy fulfil his dream?</h5><p>We all have dreams. Dreams motivate us to work hard so that we can achieve them. Similarly, a little boy in Shivamogga (also known as Shimoga), Karnataka, dreams of becoming a police officer. On 16th August 2023, the Shivamogga police department helped the eight-and-a-half-year-old boy fulfil his dream.</p><p>The police department allowed him to spend a few hours as a police inspector (PI) at Doddapete Police Station. Azan Khan (the little boy) suffers from heart problems. His parents had requested the police officers of Shivamogga if they could fulfil the kid’s dream symbolically.</p><p>Shivamogga’s Superintendent of Police (SP), G.K. Mithun Kumar, agreed to grant the request. The boy was given a police outfit, which he wore and sat on the PI’s chair. Senior police officials were also present. The child saluted the senior police officers and spoke with station personnel. This is something the kid will remember for the rest of his life. It can have a long-lasting positive influence on him. Others can look up to them as role models. Overall, this decision can help the police show a positive image of themselves, which will strengthen society. Let’s also hope the kid stays healthy and grows up to become an honest police officer.</p>
