How did the police help the boy fulfil his dream?
We all have dreams. Dreams make us want to do our best to make them come true. Similarly, a little boy in Shivamogga (also known as Shimoga), Karnataka, wants to be a police officer. On 16th August 2023, the police department in Shivamogga helped him fulfil his dream.
They let the boy be a police inspector (PI) at Doddapete Police Station for a few hours. The boy's name is Azan Khan, and he's eight and a half years old. He has a heart problem. His parents requested the police if they could fulfil the kid’s dream symbolically.
The police department agreed. They gave the boy a police uniform, which he wore and sat on the PI’s chair. Senior police officials were there too. The boy saluted them and talked to the other police officers at the station. It was a very happy day for him.
