<h5>Where was the FIFA Women’s World Cup held?</h5><p>The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup was held in Australia and New Zealand, as both countries co-hosted the tournament. This is the ninth edition of this tournament. It was started in 1991 with only 12 teams participating.</p><p>For the first time ever, 32 countries participated in the Women's World Cup. This year’s tournament lasted from 20th July to 20th August 2023. Spain is now the second country to win both the men's and women's FIFA World Cup competitions. Germany was the first country to do it.</p><h5>How was Spain’s performance in the tournament?</h5><p>In the group stage, Spain won 2 games but lost 1. But they got second place and qualified for the round of 16 stage. They beat Switzerland at this stage and then defeated the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.</p><p>In the semi-finals, they played against Sweden. After winning, they got to the finals and finally won the tournament. The Spanish players worked really hard to win this tournament. They didn't give up even when they lost a match earlier in the competition. They stayed focused and became world champions.</p>
