<h5>India’s campaign starts with a win!</h5><p>The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 has recently started. India is in Group A with the USA, Canada, Pakistan, and Ireland.</p><p>India played their first match against Ireland on 5th June 2024 and defeated them easily. The win delighted Indian cricket fans. The winner of this match will likely be the group topper.</p><p>While other teams are in the group, they are considered minnows as compared to India and Pakistan. They won the first T20 World Cup in 2007, as well as the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.</p><p>Since then, India has faced disappointment in ICC tournaments. Last year, the team <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/australia-wins-the-icc-men-s-cricket-world-cup">lost the ICC Cricket WC final against Australia</a>.</p><p>India has prepared well this time and sent a <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/t20-world-cup-india-s-squad-announced">strong squad to the T20 World Cup</a>. Let's hope for the best!</p><p><strong>Update:</strong> India has defeated Pakistan by six runs, much to the delight of the Indian fans.</p>
