<h5>India’s campaign starts with a win!</h5><p>The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup (WC) 2024 started recently. India has been placed in Group A along with the USA, Canada, Pakistan, and Ireland.</p><p>So far, India has only played against Ireland, which was no match for India’s bowling attack, since they were bowled out at just 96 runs!</p><p>India quickly reached the target and won the match by eight wickets, delighting the Indian cricket fans. The match will be held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, USA.</p><p>This is a crucial match for both teams, as the winner of the match will likely be the group topper.</p><p>What about other teams in the group? Compared to India and Pakistan, those teams can be considered minnows and are not likely to present too much of a challenge. Even then, nothing is certain!</p><p>India has won six out of seven matches against Pakistan across all T20 World Cup matches. Even last year, the team lost the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/australia-wins-the-icc-men-s-cricket-world-cup">ICC Cricket WC final against Australia</a>.</p><p>India has prepared well this time and sent a <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/t20-world-cup-india-s-squad-announced">strong squad to participate in the T20 WC</a>. Let’s hope the team’s hard work and dedication can help them win the trophy.</p><p><strong>Update:</strong> India has defeated Pakistan by six runs, much to the delight of the Indian fans.</p>
