Endangered animals are going back home!

Thailand is sending about 1,000 animals, like lemurs and tortoises, back to Madagascar. These animals were saved and are now going home to East Africa!

The first group of animals has already left, and more will follow soon. Thai officials say this is the biggest animal return ever between Thailand and Madagascar.

Earlier this year, Thai police saved over 1,100 animals. Some of the animals didn’t survive, but many are healthy now. Soon, they will be safe in Madagascar!

Thailand is a place where some people try to bring animals into the country illegally. These animals are often sold as pets or used in medicine. This is very dangerous for the animals, and they might disappear forever.

Thanks to the police, six people were arrested. They could go to prison and pay big fines.
It’s great to see these animals going home! Let’s help protect animals so they can live safely in nature!
