Wind-powered cargo ship!

Imagine if giant ships could sail across oceans using just the power of the wind! Well, that’s exactly what happened recently! A special cargo ship travelled from France to New York, USA, using only the wind. It’s like nature-powered magic!

Why wind power is cool

This new ship, designed by a French company called TOWT (Trans-Oceanic Wind Transport), was filled with hundreds of boxes of fancy drinks like wine and champagne.

And guess what? It used big sails to catch the wind and glide across the water! Wind power is clean, so it doesn’t pollute the air or harm animals.

High-tech sails

The ship’s huge sails are made of strong carbon fibre, making them tougher than most kites or even cricket bats!

When the wind blew, the sails filled up, pushing the ship forward. This is much better for our planet than using noisy engines that burn fuel.

A cleaner future

Using wind power on big ships can help the Earth stay cleaner. TOWT, the company that built this ship, wants more companies to use wind-powered ships. Imagine if every toy, book, or snack we love could arrive without causing pollution!
