Whenever I visit a Buddhist monastery, I am intrigued by the cute little lamas' life in the monastery.

Being curious to read about another culture, I read this book, "His Holiness The Dalai Lama in 100 Anecdotes." Arthy Muthanna Singh and Mamta Nainy co-authored the book. It traces the life story of His Holiness the Dalai Lama through 100 anecdotes.

Written in simple language, it keeps us glued to the book. Through the words, the authors create mesmerising pictures of His Holiness's life from Childhood to the present in our mind. I recommend this book for all age groups, young and old.

It also teaches us how to live a simple life with good moral values. Buddham Sharanam Gacchami.
