Hey there, little chefs! Ready to dive into the world of making a yummy treat without even touching the oven?

Let's get started on making a super easy no-cook fridge cake! This recipe is awesome for those days when it's too hot to think about turning on the oven, but you still want a delicious dessert.

First things first, let's gather up what we need:

  1. 450 grams of digestive biscuits (those yummy ones)
  2. 150 grams of butter (ask an adult for help)
  3. 500 grams of dark chocolate, all broken up into pieces
  4. 2 tablespoons of honey (the sticky, sweet stuff)
  5. 50 grams of raisins or cranberries (which do you prefer?)
  6. 50 grams of almonds (or any nuts you like)

Now, let's get cooking!

Step 1: Smash Those Biscuits!

Grab a freezer bag and toss in all the digestive biscuits. Now, here comes the fun part - grab a rolling pin and give those biscuits a good whack! But remember, we want them chunky, not powdered dust.

Step 2: Melt and Mix

Ask an adult to help you with this part. In a bowl set over a saucepan of hot water (we call this a water bath, fancy, right?), melt the butter, chocolate pieces, and honey together. Keep stirring until everything gets nice and shiny. Once it's all melted, turn off the heat.

Step 3: Mix It Up!

Once the bowl has cooled down a bit, it's time to add in those smashed biscuits and your choice of dried fruits and nuts. If you want smaller pieces, give them a chop before tossing them in. Mix everything together really well.

Step 4: Shape and Chill

Find a flat tin about 7x7 inches and line it with baking paper. Now, using the back of a heavy spoon, gently press the mixture into the tin until it's nice and even. Pop the tin into the fridge to let it harden.

Step 5: Ready to Serve!

After a bit of chilling time, your no-cook cake is ready to go! Take it out of the fridge and cut it into squares. Now comes the best part - serving it up and enjoying the deliciousness!

Whether it's a sleepover, movie night, or birthday bash, your friends and family are sure to be impressed by your tasty creation.

So, there you have it, a super easy no-cook fridge cake that's perfect when you need a sweet treat.

Now, here's a question for you: What fun name would you give to this cake? Would you add any extra fun stuff like sprinkles or marshmallows? Let us know in the comments below!

Have fun making it, and don't forget to share it with your loved ones!
