A woman is like a goddess,
in one move the whole world she can impress.

Very few people get to witness her heart of gold,
Since she is usually made to do whatever she is told.

Like Sunita Williams she begins her flight,
so graceful and ferocious that it becomes a sight.

Even if she is in pain,
like Shakuntala Devi she uses her gifted brain.

Like Vinesh Phogat she fights,
Whether in a match or for her rights.

Let us all empower women in our nation,
and encourage women in every occupation.
