Should we turn Mars into a second Earth?

We've done a lot to harm our planet, is the solution to fix it or abandon it?

We recently did an article on how NASA is sending a crew to Mars without leaving Earth (confused? read the article here). These missions are being done to see if we can make life on Mars possible!

Let’s imagine turning Mars into a second Earth! Exciting, right? But it’s a big job, needing lots of resources, money and brainpower. Are all these resources better spent fixing the damage we have done to Earth or escaping to Mars!? What are your thoughts?
