With a mix of new and nostalgic shows, the channel is a constant source of fun and laughter. Many US animation workers have been fired and remain unemployed. Many projects were also cancelled, and the work was outsourced to foreign countries to reduce costs.</p><p>The video ended with a call to action, asking viewers to post their favourite CN shows along with using #RIPCartoonNetwork. Many social media users have made nostalgic posts about the channel as they thought it was shutting down.</p><h5>Is CN really shutting down?</h5><p>Despite widespread rumours on X and other social media platforms, the channel has not officially confirmed whether it is shutting down.</p><p>However, its popularity has noticeably waned compared to its heyday.</p><h5>The problem with CN!</h5><p>Today, with easy internet access, children prefer watching their favourite shows on demand.</p><p>With more streaming services available, kids can enjoy a vast array of content. Here, CN has struggled to maintain its once-loyal audience. Moreover, kids crave quick, engaging content, leaving behind CN's longer, slower-paced episodes.</p><p>The channel has also not been able to produce new hit shows. This has further declined viewership. Running a channel is costly, and attracting fewer viewers can reduce revenue, risking a shutdown.</p>
