He overtook Serena Williams to become the first player to win 24 Grand Slams in the Open Era.</p><p>Djokovic is tied with Margaret Court, who also won 24 Grand Slams. Djokovic also became the oldest guy to win the US Open in the Open Era. India’s Rohan Bopanna became the oldest player to reach a Grand Slam final in the Open era at the age of 43 years and 6 months. He broke the record set by Canada's Daniel Nestor.</p><p>Sadly, Rohan Bopanna and his partner, Matthew Ebden (from Australia), lost to the USA’s Rajeev Ram and Great Britain’s Joe Salisbury.</p><p>The other winners of this year’s tournament are:</p><p>Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada) and Erin Routliffe (New Zealand) won the women's doubles. The mixed doubles was won by Anna Danilina (Kazakhstan) and Harri Heliovaara (Finland).</p>
