What did the young boy do?
A 12-year-old boy named Mursalin Seikh helped stop a train accident in West Bengal. Mursalin saw a part of the train track was damaged because of rain. He quickly removed his red t-shirt and stood on the track, waving it to get the driver's attention. The train driver saw him waving the red shirt and applied the brakes to stop the train.
For his brave actions, the boy received a certificate and cash. The railway authorities and the area’s Member of Parliament (MP) also praised his bravery. The state government plans to reward him as well.
